Railway Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu on September 29, 2016 launched various Railways Services through video-conferencing from
Rail Bhawan in
New Delhi. These Railways services are : Liberalised station-tostation special freight rates policy;
Policy providing sub quota of 330/s
to women within reserved categories for the allotment in catering units; Policy giving
preference to
local domicile holders for commercial licences at stations; New system of allocating vacant berths after final charting to wayside
stations; and Launch of the new tag Train at a Glance 2016 and new Time Table effective from October 1.

Prabhu said on the occasion that Railways was in the process of
interacting/recognising the fields where partnership can be done and additional freight can
be obtained. He said that the other facilities of passenger insurance, booking of retiring room, accountability of Train Superintendent will also make rail journey comfortable for all rail users.Subscribe now previous question papers
